Friends of the Fairgrounds Foundation
The
Friends of the Fairgrounds Foundation, Inc. (Friends Foundation), a non-profit
501(c)(3) corporation, was organized to support Expo Square in its commitment
to provide the finest in facilities and services to the Tulsa community, surrounding
counties. We assist in efforts to
expand Expo Square event participation and are responsible for developing financial
support benefiting Expo Square specific projects and the people it serves.
Our vision includes but is not limited to the creation of an endowment to assist
in the maintenance of current renovations & improvements at Expo Square.
Our mission is to support the development of Expo Square by increasing public awareness of Expo Square's economic contribution and by providing educational, cultural and charitable programs, benefits, services and facilities to the community, state and region.

"ANNUAL FAIR KICK-OFF PARTY"
The 2008 Fair Kick-Off Party
Wear your Fair attire and join Tulsa’s Best Party! Come join us at the most unique event in Tulsa as we celebrate “Then & Now” Re-Discover Expo Square at the 7th Annual Fair Kick-Off Party. This year’s contributions will benefit Youth Agriculture Educational Tour Programs featuring GPS Rangers for the “Fun on the Farm” and the Livestock Complex as well as Pavilion Box Office Signage and utility installation for the QuikTrip Center Food Court.
Mark your calendar for “Fair food, fun, music and dancing” for Friday, September 12th, 2008 in the beautiful Expo Square Pavilion from 6:30 - 10:00 p.m. Enjoy many unique live and silent auction items such as Chili Bowl VIP Tickets, Indy 500 Tickets, a vintage Coca-Cola Vending Machine and many more items. There will also be authentic fair food and dance to the Mid-Life Crisis Band. Major Sponsors this year are: Parties Plus Productions, Inc. and ExpoServe.
Your contribution will help to provide needed funds for worthwhile projects, you will also receive a tax deductible benefit and your donation will receive recognition at the event. The 2007 Fair Kick-Off Party
An officially sanctioned Centennial Event, was a huge success, raising over $200,000 for worthwhile projects at Expo Square.
Aubrey Ringleb, Executive Director of the Friends of the Fairgrounds Foundation graduated from Leadership Tulsa Class 37 in September of 2007. The experience provided more visibility for the Foundation and strengthened her relationship with leaders in the Tulsa community.
