Pork Chop Tomato Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Onions, finely chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Shortening
  • 4 Pork Chops, finely chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • 2 Small Tomatoes, diced
  • 1 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 4 Slices Bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Ready-Made Pie Crust
  • 1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese

Recipe

Sauté onions and pork chops in shortening in a large skillet and 2 tablespoons flour.  Cook until tender.  Simmer until thick.  Cook pie crust until about ½ done.  Stir in a bowl, mayonnaise, sour cream, salt and pepper and cheese and mix them all together.  Put all in pie crust.  Cook at 325° for 10 to 15 minutes or until light golden brown.  This makes two pies.
