Ooey Gooey Brownie Balls


  • 4 Ounces Unsweetened Chocolate
  • 2/3 Cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1½ Cups of Sugar
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1¼ Cups Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Cup Broken Toasted Pecans
Chocolate Ganache Icing
  • 1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • ½ Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract


Preheat oven to 350°. 

Over low heat, melt unsweetened chocolate and butter together.  Stir until smooth and remove from heat.  Add Sugar, eggs and vanilla to chocolate mixture.  Mix flour, baking powder and salt together and stir into chocolate mixture; add nuts.  Bake in glass baking dish for 16 - 18 minutes.

To make the icing, melt chocolate in whipping cream over low heat.  Once chocolate is melted, removed from heat and add vanilla.

Once cool to the touch, use an ice cream scooper to make into balls.  Once completely cool, pour the Chocolate Ganache icing on top.
